The major focus of the Company is their Costumer’s satisfaction, crossing distances quickly and on time, ensuring security and reliability, knowing that is Human Resources are the most valuable asset, the company has a selected staff, and uses modern equipment and state of the art technology.
1950
Alvaro Figueiredo started the transport business founding the Empresa de Transportes Álvaro Figueiredo (ETAF). In 1954 he buys his first truck.
1960
The growth of the company’s fleet was constant throughout this decade.
1970
At this time, its trucking fleet travelled thousands of kilometers on national roads.
1980
Beginning of international transport and the opening of the new facilities.
1990
In 1995 the private company limited by shares transforms into a corporate company.
In 1997 APCER Certification according to standard NP EN 9002:1995.
2003
APCER Certification under the new ISO 9001:2000.
2007
Start of Maritime Container transport.
2009
Increase of logistics capacity with new centers in the North and South.
APCER certification under the new standard NP EN ISO 9001:2008.
2010
Start of bulk transport in Tipper semi-trailers.
2014
Export Warehouse implementation in Oliveira de Azeméis.
